WCID 12 Rate Order (April 22, 2013)
The rate order has been revised to reflect an “Equal Share” approach to the distribution of water and treatment of sewage for the district. The miscellaneous fee schedule remains unchanged from the existing Rate Order. The rate change approach was encouraged and supported by the state to promote water conservation and bring the district up to the state required emergency funds following hurricane Ike.
The Kemah Volunteer Fire Department received approval of a $10.00 per unit assessment during the last election and the current assessment approved by the board is $7.00 per unit based on their 5 year plan.. The detail for the determination of the units determination is in the rate information page 19.
